- Responsible for the collection of all certified municipal revenues
- Monitors all types of revenue and records daily receipts by category; prepares monthly consolidated revenue reports.
- Collects and checks treasury receipts and delivers daily collections.
- Maintains the archive of official municipal revenue receipts.
- Creates and issues revenue collection notes.
- Checks financial instruments forwarded to the Treasury by municipal services and issues receipts of delivery
- Updates financial titles in cases of appeals and adjusts them according to the decisions of Conciliation Committees and the Administrative Court of First Instance.
- Safeguards the Municipality’s financial interests and ensures the collection of all statutory revenues in accordance with the Public Revenue Collection Code (Κ.Ε.Δ.Ε).
- Issues seizure orders to bailiffs
- Schedules and monitors auctions and seizures
- Monitors pending court cases in cooperation with the Legal Department and provides legally substantiated opinions to the Administrative Court regarding corrections, suspensions, and objections.
- Conducts searches to locate debtors.
- Sends treasury notices and reminders to debtors
- Processes postal money orders.
- Collects illegal parking fines.
- Collects certified and non-certified traffic violations.
- Provides services to citizens, issues and files notifications related to large sums.
- Sends lists of confirmed traffic fines (Σ.Ε.Σ.Ο.) to the traffic police departments concerned.
- Handles internal and external correspondence.
- Processes refunds of unduly paid amounts.
- Drafts submissions to the Finance Committee and prepares obligation requests for bailiff expenses.
- Drafts reports of seizure orders and schedules.
- Monitors and clears all types of electronic payments.
