Lifelong Learning Centers are institutions providing services within the framework of non-formal education, offering adults:
a) continuing vocational training,
b) reskilling,
c) upskilling,
d) general adult education, and
e) counseling and career guidance. They may belong to either the public or the private sector.
The programs are completely free of charge and can be attended by adults regardless of age or educational background. The sections to be created pertain to areas including foreign languages, new technologies for the elderly, website creation, entrepreneurship, tourism and cultural development, migrant education, photography, dressmaking, among others.
The responsibility for the implementation of the programs is under the responsibility of the competentVice-Mayor, Nikolaos Vafeiadis.
