UPDATE
In the context of implementing the Project “Modernization of Citizens’ Service Centers (KEP)”, according to the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0, renovation works will take place in KEP branches of the Municipality of Athens in the near future. The execution of these works requires the suspension of operation of the KEP branches undergoing renovation.
During the period in which the KEP under renovation will remain closed due to the works, citizens who wish to submit an application or certify the authenticity of their signature may visit any of the remaining KEP branches of our Municipality. As for citizens who wish to collect their documents (driver’s licenses, vehicle licenses, court certificates, etc.) from the KEP that is being renovated, they will be served by the respective branch of the Municipal Community.
Specifically:
- The Syntagma KEP, 1st Municipal Community (KEP 001, 10 Othonos & Amalias) ill suspend its operation from Friday, 19-09-2025 at 13:00 until Monday, 13-10-2025.
Citizens wishing to collect their documents (driver’s licenses, vehicle licenses, court certificates, etc.) during the period 22-09-2025 to 13-10-2025, will be served at the branch of the 1st Municipal Community (3 Iroon Square, 105 54 Athens, Psyrri) from 08:00–16:00.

URGENT UPDATE
For the renewal and issuance of new Disability Travel Cards, the start date is set for April 4, 2025, and the end date for November 30, 2025.
Persons with disabilities who are entitled to a Travel Card must submit the required documents, as specified in Circular No. 4628/1-4-2025 (ADA: ΡΠΔΦ46Ν2Α-4ΞΕ) of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family / Directorate of Disability Policy (AmeA), to the competent services of the Regional Units or Citizen Service Centers (K.E.P.) located within the respective Regional Unit boundaries.
ANNOUNCEMENT
According to decision D.Y.M.S/Φ.1/4/17800/7-11-2024 of the Deputy Minister of Interior (Government Gazette 6209/B/12-11-2024 (ΑΔΑ: ADA:63ΥΓ46ΜΤΛ6-ΒΕΡ), KEP0308 (Kypseli KEP) of the Municipality of Athens has been merged into KEP0699PE (Victoria KEP) of the same Municipality. Both offices have been relocated to Patision 159, where the K.E.P. America Square now operates since Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
The Municipality of Athens operates eight (8) Citizen Service Centers (K.E.P.):

According to Circular No. 31769 EX 2022 of the Ministry of Digital Governance, K.E.P. offices in our Municipality operate with extended hours:
- Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 20:00 (public service: 08:00 – 19:30)
- Saturday: 08:00 – 14:00 (public service: 08:00 – 13:30)

* At K.E.P. Syntagma (Othonos & Amalias 10), a remote interpretation and lip-reading machine is available to support communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing citizens.
- Since Wednesday, 31/03/2021, the Unified Digital Public Administration Portal (Gov.gr) (ΕΨΠ–Gov.gr) has activated the K.E.P. Visit Platform for citizens to schedule appointments online via computer or mobile device. Citizens can book appointments at all K.E.P. offices nationwide. Scheduling of in-person appointments continues to be available via telephone and through the kep.gov.gr kep.gov.gr» platform.
