Required Documents
Β1) Issuance of a Copy of a Certificate of Next of Kin (for a certificate that has already been issued previously)
Required documents:
• Police ID card (or passport or any other identification document) and, in the event a third party appears on your behalf, a power of attorney or proxy from a next of kin of the deceased or a court order is required.
Β2) Issuance of a Certificate of Next of Kin(first-time issuance)
Required documents:
• Police ID card (or passport or any other identification document), and In the event a third party appears on your behalf, a power of attorney or proxy from a next of kin of the deceased,
• Death certificate (for deaths occurring prior to 20-01-2018),
• Sworn affidavits from two witnesses (with signatures officially certified) for cases where the deceased was unmarried or married without children, as well as for any other case in which the familial relationships or the persons to be included in the certificate are not explicitly clear.
